Quilt Market 2014

Lesley & I got up with the sun today to travel to Pittsburg PA for three days of fabrics, patterns, notions, and tons of ideas. Today we walked the market for 8 hours getting brochures and taking pictures of things we thought were fabulous. 

We saw things that we already had on order like Nancy Halvorsen's new fabric line Christmas Pure and Simple. (Which arrived in Ky this week. The books are on order.)

Then we found lots of new things like fabric company Cotton & Steel. Where we ordered some cottons, lawn and canvas. 

Then we prepared for our Saturday appointments like which fabric lines we would consider purchasing from Moda. 

Stay tuned. Who knows what tomorrow will bring.

Appliqué Embroidered Burp Cloth

While thinking of a project for my May creative sensation owners class, I came across and appliquéd embroidered blanket on Pottery Barns website. This was the perfect project for my class. Everything to make this adorable burp cloth can be done directly on the PFAFF creative sensation. So my new niece to be, Kylie, got her first handmade present.
